Campaign Coordinator (Wizard Rock the Vote)

Ami Dawn Tull, a Gryffindor born on December 13, 1970, lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and 3 children where she runs a Discovery Toys business to support her Wizard Rock habit. Harry Potter entered her life in the fall of 2000 when she and her family began to read and discuss the books. She became an avid collector of games, action figures, and well just about anything HP. Ami was introduced to the Harry Potter Alliance at Wrockstock 2007 after Andrew Slack introduced HPA and its works to the fans attending that festival. She was impressed by Andrew and the organization. She had long been interested in developing a relationship with a charitable organization and in HPA she found it. Wizard Rock the VOTE is a program that is very close to Ami's heart. Nothing is more important than exercising your responsibility to vote and Ami is ready to spread the word.

Amanda
Project Manager

Amanda has been an environmental and social activist since she was a child, and a big fan of Harry Potter since the first movie came out, so once she heard of the HP Alliance, she knew it was something she should join. The same age as Harry (specifically two days older than Ron!), she is currently finishing a PhD in Psychology and hopes to find a job as a professor. With the HPA, she does various things in the background. A real-life Hermione, and a big Ravenclaw-Gryffindor, she loves to help wherever she can.

Dinah
House Party Coordinator

Dinah is proud to be a Hufflepuff. In many ways, it was her Hufflepuffosity that inspired her to work with the Harry Potter Alliance. If she did not have such a strong desire to constantly promote Interhouse Solidarity, Dinah would probably not be as concerned as she is with what is happening around the world. As a student of English and Editing, Dinah hopes to go into the wide world of Publishing someday, maybe even as the next Arthur A. Levine... Dinah's love for Harry Potter brought her to create her own Harry Potter Club and HPA Chapter at her university, hoping to meet as many HP fans as possible! Dinah is a huge Wizard Rock fan and is always looking forward to the next show!

Jess
Co-Campaign Coordinator (Magical Acts of Kindness)

Jess is a 22 year old Gryffindor who comes from sunny North Wales! By day she works as an administrator at a holiday park, but by night she helps to promote Wizard Rock via the Ministry of Awesome, as well as working on various projects. She has been reading Harry Potter since the first book came out when she was around 12 years old. Jess first found the Harry Potter Alliance through Wizard Rock in October 2007, and became involved with the HPA in December 2007, when she approached Andrew Slack, asking for his help to promote Be Awesome Month (a charity project that she co-founded with her friend Lauren, also a HPA Staffer). Jess is currently one of the two project leaders for the HPA project Magical Acts of Kindness (or MAK for short), again working with Lauren.Having recently gained her degree in forensic science and criminology, Jess graduated from Keele University (Staffordshire, England) in July 2008.

Co-Campaign Coordinator (Magical Acts of Kindness)

Lauren is 19 years old and currently pursuing a BA degree in Journalism and Sociology at a Scottish university. She is one of the directors of the Magical Acts of Kindness project, and got involved with the Harry Potter Alliance after she and her friend Jess organised "Be Awesome Month" (hyperlinked) in February 2008. A Ravenclaw to the core, she has been a fan of Harry Potter since 2001, but only became active in online fandom after the release of Deathly Hallows. She also loves Wizard Rock and is a core fan in the UK scene, and if she were a Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Bean, she believes she would be chocolate.

Campaign and Merchandise Coordinator

Nicole (Hufflepuff) is the merchandise coordinator and Wizard Rock the Vote coordinator for the HPA. She has been part of the organization for almost two years and has loved every minute of it. She has loved Harry Potter since they first came out but did not get involved in the scene after the Goblet of Fire came out and discovered wizard rock and the HPA. Soon she joined up and helped work on the Wizrocklopedia. Harry Potter has changed her in the best way possible, helping her see the world in a different light and making her great friends. In real life, Nicole has just graduated high school and will be attending New York University in the fall.

Samantha
Campaign Coordinator (Wizard Rock the Vote)

Samantha, of the Ravenclaw house, currently serves with the HPA as one of the Wizard Rock the Vote coordinators. She is excited to finally being able to be active in a chapter as well! Samantha is still pretty new to the HPA scene and has only been on staff since early 2008. She started reading Harry Potter at 19 (after some convincing by her aunt) and was an instant fan. She didn't get involved with the fandom, however, until October 2007 when she went to the first Wrockstock, where she heard her first Wizard Rock and met Andrew Slack. She is thrilled to be part of such an awesome community that has introduced her to some of her best friends. In the real world, Samantha has just finished 2 years of service with AmeriCorps (check it out!) and is hoping to start a career working with children.

Forum Manager and Mod Coordinator

A good Slytherin at heart, Tita first found out about the HPA through MySpace and became active in the HPA Forums as soon as they first opened. She lives in the Los Angeles area where she works full time and attends school hoping to obtain her A.A. at some point before the end of the decade. She was born in El Salvador and moved to the U.S. at the age of 16. Tita began reading Harry Potter at 21, in an attempt to fight off boredom; she had no idea she'd become as obsessed as she is now. She is also part of a WRock band along with her friends, even though she can't sing nor play an instrument. Her free time is spent as a Mod Manager on the HPA Forums, re-reading the HP series and watching Ghost Hunters.

Colleen (queenofwands)

Colleen is a moderator for the HP Alliance, which combines two of her greatest loves: Harry Potter and activism. She has been a Scarhead since age 11, and has always felt inspired by J.K.Rowling's efforts to create positive change in the world. Some of her major "causes" that she has worked on have been LGBT rights, comprehensive sex education, the preservation of secular government, religious tolerance, feminism, and opposing censorship. Currently attending college, she is a Humanities major studying to be a librarian, and plans to take over Madame Pince's position once she retires.

Courtney (cherrykiss314)

Courtney Dupre lives in a small town in Central New York. She is graduating from high school on June 28th and plans on going to college in the fall to study and become a librarian. She first became involved with the HPA through MySpace and is now a moderator. She loves being a part of the HPA because she has a strong desire to do good in the world, and she figures this is a good place to start. She has been reading Harry Potter since the age of 11 and considers herself a Ravenclaw.

Katy first met Harry after hearing about the new book and decided to find out what the big was and became hooked. She had heard of the HPA from different sources but it wasn't until she spoke to Andrew Slack that she became truly inspired to help out. She loves that the HPA is combating world issues in the name of Harry and she especially loves the whole Harry Potter community for their openness to all people, no matter what. In her "real" life, Katy is studying to become a Theater Teacher at the University of Northern Colorado. Katy is a true Gryffindor though her sense of humor and snarky attitude makes her a bit Slytherin.

Nikki (Nikadi)

Nikki is 19 and lives in the UK, working as a watersports instructor with a UK based company called PGL in their centre Boreatton Park. She first read the HP books in Year 7 (aged 11) and was hopeful she'd be a late Hogwarts entrant... (Slytherin o'course!) Nikki discovered the HPA one way or another and made some suggestions to Andrew, who gave her the opportunity to carry them out.
