Heather is a graphic designer who lends her skills to the HPA. She discovered Harry in 2000 when a co-worker suggested she read the Sorcerer’s Stone and she’s been obsessed ever since. She has yet to find that perfect design job but holds out hope that it is coming. Heather likes to read, watch movies, travel, and laugh until her stomach hurts. She loves chocolate, Youtube, sappy romance novels, and fully embraces her inner nerd.

Tangled in Charlotte’s Web

I fell in love with Charlotte at the age of seven. You know Charlotte, right? She’s a spider who was so smart she could write words in her web. I met her through Mrs. De Lorenzo, my second grade teacher, who sat us down on the reading rug and read to us, out loud, the story of a pig named Wilbur and his best friend Charlotte. Every day I looked forward to story time and the prospect of joining my new friends in their barnyard adventures.

Our focus area for Accio Books! this year is the New Beginnings Charter school in Brooklyn, NY. New Beginnings is a school currently without a library, but we are going to give them one.
