Weird Question Weekly

Bringing you a weekly dose of the wacky, the weird and the wonderful, straight from the blog team. Got a question for us? Leave it in the comments and we’ll answer it next week.

This week’s question: What are you currently obsessed with?

The-Lizzie-Bennet-DiariesErin: Is “everything” an acceptable answer? No? Okay, then. Other than the ongoing Harry Potter obsession that will never ever die, I’m pretty obsessed with Doctor Who (I blame my boyfriend). But this week’s supermegafoxyawesomehot obsession was definitely Lizzie Bennet Diaries. I couldn’t stop talking about it. We’ve gotten to the best part of the novel at this point (the part of the novel where I couldn’t put the book down) and I can’t tell you how excited I am to see this played out in Lizzie Bennet Diaries. I may have also had several freakouts this past Wednesday night when all the excitement went down. It was insane. So yes…Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and DEFINITELY Lizzie Bennet Diaries are my current obsessions.

Elizabeth: Les Mis! I’ve loved Les Mis for several years now, but with the movie coming out recently, it’s been almost constantly on my mind. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack nonstop and my entire tumblr is pretty much composed ofheartbreaking Les Mis gifsets. I’m pretty sure Gavroche owns my soul.

Quinn: My obsessions tend to either be long and deep or short and quick. At the moment, I think I’d have to say that I’m between obsessions. I’ve tried a few things, but none of of the current things out there have really gone to ‘obsession’ level for me. The last thing that I would really say that I was obsessed with would probably by Iron Man. I almost wish that I had something I was really into at the moment, but I just don’t!

Emily: I have a recent obsession with Downton Abbey. Obsessed meaning heart-pounding-tail-wagging-fully-intimate-you-are-all-my-friends obsessed. I have watched every season into days because it is more essential than water. And it reminds me of unicorns- such a rare and magical tv show hen no other has made me feel this way ever! Right, so you get my drift. Go watch it!!!

Kara: My obsessions tend to be music based, as music is generally the only thing I have time to think about during the school year (and no, I am NOT complaining about that). My current music obsession is Punch Brothers, which is the single most amazing progressive bluegrass band ever. If you haven’t heard them, go listen. Now.
What are you waiting for? Seriously, don’t make me chase after you with the big dictionary…

Anna: LIZZIE BENNET DIARIES WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY FEELS??? I can’t even with this show right now.

So, what’s you’re current obsession? Tell us in the comments, and while you’re at it, leave us a question to answer next week!

I definitely agree with LBD! Wednesday I literally had an elevated heart rate for a good hour after I found out about *spoiler*. I hate the weekend because there’s no new LBD content!

I was home alone when *spoiler* happened on Wednesday night…and that resulted in me texting my one roommate to yell at her…then texting my mom to yell at her…and then as soon as my roommates returned, yelling at both of them again. I was in complete freak-out mode. I think I said “I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY JUST WENT THERE” about sixty times that night. Gooooood times. :)

I was alone in my dorm room. But, I had some good freak outs on facebook chat with my sister and in my local nerdfighter facebook group.

My freaking out and obsessing over LBD is causing my friends who would normally watching things a day or two late (HOW???) watch them as soon as they post. Any time we see each other we practically spazz out together and have these intense discussions about it. I spent a half out detailing to one friend why Jane being busy and not looking online or knowing anything made logical sense and now she agrees with me. xD
