The Harry Potter Alliance won $250,000 from Chase Community Giving
The Harry Potter Alliance has won first place in the the Chase Community Giving Challenge, which means we have won $250,000. Voting ended on Monday at 11:59pm EST. It was a tense and crazy night, but we did it. Thanks to everyone who voted and supported us! We’ll have more info soon, but for now our staff is taking a brief, but well-deserved rest.

It was so exciting to watch the votes in the final hours. (I spent my night watching John Green’s BlogTV show.) I’m so proud of the Potter community (and Nerdfighteria) and I’m also proud to know that this money will be going to fund fantastic projects.

I am so proud of all the Potter people, Nerdfighters, and Youtubers who worked SO HARD for this. I could not be happier for the HPA, nor prouder to be a part of this community. HPA FTW. We did it!
