Local Accio Books Drives

To celebrate Accio Books, chapters are doing some incredible things, including hosting book drives, benefit concerts, and parties. Here are a few of the events taking place this month:
Accio Books Party!
Hosted by: Dumbledore’s Army of Delaware County
When: Saturday March 27, 11am-2pm
Where: Helen Kate Furness Library, 100 North Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086
Details: Guests are invited to bring new or gently-used books to donate. All of the books collected will be distributed to local organizations. There will also be fun Potter-themed games and activities for everyone to join in!
Accio Books Concert!

When: Saturday March 27, 2pm-5pm
Where: 93 Market Street, Poughkeepsie, NY

Details: A wrock concert to celebrate Accio Books! The concert will feature the music stylings of Draco and the Malfoys, the Whomping Willows, Lauren Fairweather of The Moaning Myrtles, Swish and Flick, MC Kreacher and more!
NoVA Accio Books Wrap-up Party!
Hosted by: Carpe Futurum
When: Sunday March 28, 1pm-5pm
Where: Pohick Regional Library, 6450 Sydenstricker Rd., Burke, VA 22015-4274
Details: Guests are encouraged to bring books that have collected to donate and/or come to sort all the books so they can go to different charities. There will be wizard rock and refreshments. Also, if you can bring cardboard boxes or bags to put the books into, that is much appreciated!
