becoming me

There are many stories of creation all across this most glorious world of ours. The following is a children’s story that takes a non-denominational approach to a creation story. In many ways, it’s a story that combines many elements of the world’s multitudes of creation stories.

There are many times that people ask, “What is the Muggle Mindset?” In my belief, the Muggle Mindset, at it’s center (or lack thereof) is that part of us that, according to this story forgets who you and I actually are. Forgets the real “me.” The Muggle Mindset is not reserved for Muggles like the Dursleys. It’s a state of egotistical consciousness that is shared by the Dursleys and the Malfoys and the Fudges and Umbridges. And of course, every character in the books to some degree have a Muggle Mindset – even Harry, even Dumbledore. It’s more extreme in Scrimgeur and Draco but it still exists for most (with the exception of Fawkes and possibly of Harry and Dumbledore in King’s Cross). However, in it’s purest most unadulterated form, it is Voldemort himself.

But according to this story even when we forget, as all of us do, it does not change who we truly are. And that is beyond magic.

That video was awesome, amazing, and magical! I kind of wish it was narrated by a woman, it would make more sense, to me! With all the stuff about giving birth….
