Praying for Peace
Sadly these days we are seeing the amazing short sighted knee jerk reactions of collective egos or Muggle Mindsets, waging war in Israel and Palestine. The conflict there is normally tense and full of pain and loss but now it has become full fledged insanity. . And it saddens me so very much that this is happening right now and I’m hoping that the potential cease fire mentioned in the linked article, happens.
Let’s hope and pray to get past the insanity of the ego-fueled “Muggle Mindset.” We are seeing what it does right now. Though we aren’t getting the full picture, the full scope of the tragedy. Of what armor is built around the hearts of children and adults when they are living in the reality of obscene violence. And what happens to those injured and killed and to their families.
Let’s send our love and our prayers there to those we don’t know and to those we know.
I feel privileged to have Israeli and Palestinian friends with so much heart and goodness. To all civilians in Gaza right now, let us send our love and hope for true peace, justice, and healing. For Gaza, and for all of Israel and all of Palestine.
This violence is a good reminder for me to be conscious of the insanity of the “Muggle Mindset” and to be aware of the need for us to step into our true selves.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: this subject is one that many feel very passionate about with varying opinions. This is understandable. But please know that we will delete any comment here that is intolerant or shows hatred, discrimination, even simple insensitivity. Freedom of speech is totally awesome. But this is an issue that is very very important to people’s hearts and of course, destructive bigotry to any one is tremendously hurtful and detrimental towards the building of a supportive community. If you are going to comment, speak from your heart but please do so with the wish for peace and understanding and healing to manifest toward Israelis and Palestinians — all of whom have been through enough.
The time for peace is now. The time to send prayers for peace is now. Today is the day that we build a renewed world for right now is all that there is.
