And a Happy Festivus..for the rest of us
Commenter Ruth in the below entry reminded me that I forgot to mention one of my favorite holidays: Festivus. This is my first Christmas not in Minnesota with my former girl friend’s wonderful family watching that glorious Seinfeld episode that has brought light to us all. Thank you Ruth for reminding me! And a Happy Festivus one and all! And no, I’m in no mood for Feats of Strength as I haven’t done a proper work out in weeks. But as for an airing of grievances, oy, have I got grievances!
Enjoy the below clip and thanks again Ruth!

Enjoying the moments is the best way for it to become memorable. If you have had it up to here with Christmas, and especially carolers who you wish would let you have a silent night, you could always celebrate Festivus. Festivus is a holiday that was made up in the 60s, but presented to the world via the sitcom Seinfeld. It’s an odd holiday, to be sure – because the traditions following Festivus dinner is the Airing of Grievances, i.e. telling family members how they’ve let you down, and then Feats of Strength, wherein all celebrants basically get in a fight. The only decoration is a simple aluminum pole. While I’m waiting to see what payday brings, you can learn more about Festivus in this article by your payday loan source.
