Albus and MLK
My close friend and colleague Seth D Michaels writes: “love the post on Dr. King. Another HP parallel that comes to mind for Dr. King’s last moments is Dumbledore’s last moments. Even when he knows he doesn’t have much time left, after drinking the potion, he’s still able to inspire confidence. ‘I am not afraid, Harry, because I am with you’ – he’s offering courage in a dark moment, just like MLK’s ‘I’ve been to the mountaintop, I may not get there with you, but I’m happy tonight, I’m not fearing any man.’”
